Look Who's Talking is a romantic comedy film released in 1989. The story is centered around Mollie, a single mother who is working hard to take care of her baby, Mikey. Mollie is looking for the perfect father figure for her child and goes on a series of unsuccessful dates.
Meanwhile, Mikey has his own opinions about who the perfect father would be and he starts to show a strong preference for James, a cab driver who also works as a babysitter. James quickly becomes a regular part of Mikey's life, much to Mollie's dismay.
Mollie initially dismisses James as a potential love interest because she has been burned by men in the past and is hesitant to trust anyone. However, as she spends more time with James, she starts to see that he is a kind and caring person who genuinely cares about both her and Mikey.
As the movie progresses, Mikey continues to try and bring his mother and James together. He uses his baby tricks and charms to help them see that they belong together. Eventually, Mollie and James begin to develop feelings for each other and start dating.
The climax of the movie sees Mollie giving birth to her second child, a daughter, with James by her side. The movie ends with Mollie, James, Mikey, and the new baby starting their lives together as a happy family.
