Loners

Comedy  N/A

The movie Loners is a satirical and comedic take on the concept of loneliness and individuality. The story starts with a group of people who prefer to be alone or have a hard time connecting with others. They are living their lives in solitude, but when the government decides to blame them for the country's rising violence rates, they are forced into a group therapy program.

The therapy program is absurd, and the therapist assigned to their group has her own quirks and issues to work through. The group consists of a mix of characters, including a misanthropic anarchist, a shy guy who loves comic books, a conspiracy theorist, a reclusive artist, and a woman who is trying to overcome her social anxiety.

As the group therapy sessions progress, the eccentric loners begin to bond over their shared experiences with loneliness and the struggles of being misunderstood by society. But when they discover that the therapy program is just a cover-up for a government plot to eradicate individualism, they decide to take matters into their own hands and fight for their right to be alone.

The film provides a humorous commentary on society's pressure to conform and the stigma surrounding introverted or isolated individuals. The ensemble cast, led by the talented Brian Letscher and Tyson Turrou, delivers hilarious and heartwarming performances that make the film a delight to watch.
