In Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance, Ogami Itto (played by Tomisaburo Wakayama) is a master swordsman and the official executioner of the Shogunate. However, when he refuses to join an assassination plot against his own lord, he becomes a wanted man and is forced to flee with his young son Daigoro (played by Akihiro Tomikawa).
