London Boulevard follows the story of Mitchell (played by Colin Farrell), a recently released convict who is looking to turn his life around and start anew. After serving a three-year prison sentence, he is introduced to a veteran movie star named Charlotte (played by Keira Knightley). Charlotte is a reclusive and troubled figure, besieged by paparazzi and longing for a normal life away from the limelight.
Mitchell begins working for Charlotte as her bodyguard, and as they spend more time together, they develop a strong connection. However, their relationship is threatened by the presence of Gant (played by Ray Winstone), a ruthless gangster who seeks to control and exploit Charlotte's fame for his own ends. Gant sees Mitchell as a threat to his control over Charlotte and tries to force him out of the picture.
