In Little Nicky, Satan (played by Harvey Keitel) has three sons: Adrian (Rhys Ifans), Cassius (Tommy 'Tiny' Lister) and Nicky (Adam Sandler). When Satan decides he will not retire and give up the throne of Hell to any of his sons, Adrian and Cassius rebel and escape to Earth to create their own kingdom. Their actions lead to the closing of the portal between Earth and Hell, which causes Satan to wither away and the souls of the damned to roam the Earth.
With the fate of Hell at stake, Satan must send his most weak and lovable son, Little Nicky, to Earth to bring his brothers back to Hell. Nicky, who has a speech impediment and a habit of eating flies, is not exactly the ideal candidate for the job, but he is determined to prove himself.
As Nicky ventures to Earth, he encounters a series of comical mishaps and challenges, such as falling in love with a mortal woman named Valerie (Patricia Arquette) and battling his evil brothers. With the help of his new friends, including half-man, half-fly Todd (Allen Covert) and a talking bulldog named Beefy (Robert Smigel), Nicky must save his father and restore order to Hell before it's too late.
Little Nicky features a star-studded cast, including Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Nealon, Dana Carvey, and Jon Lovitz, among others. The film received mixed reviews upon its release but has since gained a cult following for its ridiculous humor, wacky characters, and memorable one-liners.
