Little Boy Blue is a suspenseful drama film set in rural Texas. The story revolves around a dysfunctional family - a physically abusive father named Leroy, his compliant wife Kate, their adult son Jimmy, and two young sons. Leroy is a Vietnam veteran with a war wound that has left him impotent and emotionally troubled.
Jimmy, who works at a local gas station, has suspicions about his father's dark secrets but can’t bring himself to confront them. Jimmy is a good-hearted person who loves his family, but he is also a victim of his father's abuse. He is especially protective of his younger brothers, who bear an eerie resemblance to him.
The tension rises when a Yankee woman named Marla comes to town and starts asking questions. Marla suspects that Leroy may have been involved in a crime that happened during the Vietnam War and is determined to uncover the truth. Her investigation puts her and Jimmy in grave danger, as Leroy goes to great lengths to keep his secrets hidden.
As the story progresses, the family's dark past is slowly revealed, and the secrets that once held them together begin to tear them apart.
