The woman's name is Dara and she left her family two years before to deal with her mental health issues. She enters back into the lives of her husband and daughter, who have moved on without her. Her husband, whom she left, is now in a relationship with the woman he cheated on her with and she is pregnant with his child. Dara struggles to reconnect with her daughter and prove to her husband that she is stable enough to be a part of their lives again. Throughout the movie, Dara reflects on her past mistakes and how they have affected her relationship with her family. She also tries to make amends with those she hurt in the past, including her sister and her daughter's former nanny. As Dara tries to put the pieces of her life back together, she also learns to accept the changes that have occurred in her absence and strive for a new normal for her family.
