Life Support is a 2007 HBO film based on the life of Ana Wallace, a black woman who struggled with addiction to crack cocaine but eventually became an AIDS activist. The film stars Queen Latifah as Ana and is directed by Nelson George.

The movie begins with Ana as a drug addict, separate from her husband and three children. She loses her trust when her daughter Tanya discovers her smoking crack cocaine, and Tanya runs away from home. Ana eventually enters rehab and gets clean.

After rehab, Ana becomes an AIDS activist, spreading awareness about the disease, especially in the African American community. She speaks in church and school groups and organizes support groups for people with AIDS. Ana also reconciles with her family, and together they work to help others affected by addiction and AIDS.

Life Support is a touching look at the struggles of addiction and how it affects families and communities, but also a hopeful story of redemption and the power of love and perseverance. Queen Latifah gives a powerful performance as Ana, and the film is a poignant tribute to the real-life Ana Wallace.
