Levity is a drama film released in 2003, directed by Ed Solomon. The film stars Billy Bob Thornton as Manuel Jordan, a man who is released from prison after serving 23 years for killing a teenager during an attempted robbery. Upon his release, Manuel meets a mysterious minister named Miles Evans (played by Morgan Freeman), who offers him guidance and the opportunity for redemption.
Manuel's past haunts him as he struggles to adjust to life outside of prison.
