Let's Do It Again is a 1975 comedy film directed by and starring Sidney Poitier. In the film, Clyde Williams (played by Poitier) and Billy Foster (played by Bill Cosby) are members of a fraternal order called Brothers and Sisters of Shaka, which is in need of funds. They come up with a plan to rig a boxing match in New Orleans in order to raise the money.
To make their plan work, they ask their friend and former champion boxer Big Willie (played by Jimmie Walker) to take part in the match. They also convince a few powerful men to bet on Willie, ensuring a large payout for themselves if he wins. However, things get complicated when they discover that the reigning champ, played by Fred Williamson, has ties to organized crime.
Despite the many obstacles they face, Clyde, Billy, and Big Willie manage to pull off the scheme and raise the money they need for their organization. Along the way, there are plenty of comedic moments and scenes of friendship and camaraderie between the characters.
Let's Do It Again was a box office success and received positive reviews for its humor and performances. It has since become a cult classic among fans of 1970s cinema.
