Less than Zero is a 1987 film directed by Marek Kanievska and based on Bret Easton Ellis's novel of the same name. The film tells the story of Clay, a college freshman who returns to Los Angeles for Christmas break at the request of his former girlfriend, Blair. Upon his return, Clay reunites with his friend Julian, who has developed an intense drug addiction and owes a debt to a violent drug dealer named Rip.
