In Leprechaun: Origins, the two couples are on a backpacking trip in Ireland and stumble upon a remote village. The locals warn them about a malevolent creature that lives in the nearby mountains known as the Leprechaun. The group disregards the warning and continue on their journey.
As they venture deeper into the forest, they unknowingly awaken the Leprechaun and soon find themselves being chased by the creature. The Leprechaun is not the cute, mischievous character commonly portrayed in Irish folklore but a ruthless and violent monster determined to kill anyone who crosses his path.
The group realizes that they must find a way to destroy the Leprechaun before it's too late. They soon learn that the only way to kill the creature is with a special weapon made from pure silver.
As they face their fears and fight for survival, they must also confront the harsh reality that the legend of the Leprechaun is not a myth but a horrific truth. Will they be able to defeat the beast and make it out alive, or will they fall victim to the Leprechaun's deadly grasp?
