In "Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood," Emily and her friends are struggling to make ends meet in the rough and impoverished neighborhood of Compton. One day, while on a search for scrap metal, they stumble upon a chest full of gold coins, and decide to keep it for themselves.
Unbeknownst to them, the coins belong to a Leprechaun, who will stop at nothing to get them back. A wise old psychic warns the group of the danger they have put themselves in, but they ignore her warnings. As the Leprechaun begins to hunt them down one by one, Emily and her friends must work together to try and survive.
However, it soon becomes clear that the Leprechaun is not the only danger they face. A rival gang from the neighborhood is also after the gold, leading to a deadly confrontation where the line between friend and foe becomes blurred.
As the body count rises, Emily and her remaining friends are forced to confront the Leprechaun and try to outsmart him in order to keep the treasure for themselves. Will they be successful, or will the Leprechaun have the last laugh?
