Legend of the Eight Samurai is a 1983 Japanese martial arts fantasy film directed by Kinji Fukasaku. The film features a star-studded cast, including Sonny Chiba, Hiroko Yakushimaru, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Etsuko Shihomi.

The movie is set in ancient Japan and tells the story of Princess Shizu of the Satomi clan. She is the last surviving member of her family after the evil Hikita clan murders them all in their quest to fulfill a curse by restoring the face of their warlord. The only way to do this is by using the skin of Princess Shizu.

Princess Shizu manages to escape the clutches of the Hikita clan and seeks help from a group of eight samurai warriors, each possessing a powerful magic crystal. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to rescue the remaining members of the Satomi clan and avenge her family's death.

However, with the help of their powerful magic crystals and their fighting skills, the eight samurai warriors manage to overcome all obstacles and finally confront the Hikita clan. In a final epic battle, good triumphs over evil, and Princess Shizu and the remaining members of her court are rescued.
