The movie Leaves of Grass was released in 2009 and stars Edward Norton in a dual role as twin brothers, Bill and Brady Kincaid.
Bill is a highly respected philosophy professor at Brown University who returns to his hometown in Oklahoma after receiving news that his brother Brady has been killed. Upon arrival, he discovers that Brady is actually alive and well, living a very different life from his own.
Brady is a successful pot dealer who has come up with a plan to take down a local drug lord, Pug Rothbaum (played by Richard Dreyfuss). He convinces Bill to help him in his scheme by posing as him in order to lure Rothbaum into a trap.
As Bill gets more involved in his brother's world, he begins to question his own priorities and values. Along the way, he also meets a feisty farmer's daughter (played by Keri Russell) who challenges his way of thinking.
The movie is a quirky blend of comedy, drama, and action with a unique perspective on the complexities of family, morality, and the war on drugs.
