The couple, Michelle and Ryan, are driving through Texas on their way to Florida. While stopping at a gas station, they encounter a strange and perverted attendant named Alfredo who seems to take pleasure in their discomfort. When Ryan tries to stand up to him, Alfredo threatens them with a shotgun. Fearing for their safety, the couple takes a deserted path in Texas to try to find help.
As they drive through the isolated countryside, they accidentally crash into a car belonging to a group of violent and cannibalistic cannibalistic people who live in the wilderness. The group, led by a man named Tex, proceeds to torment the couple, chasing them through the woods with a chainsaw and other weapons.
Along the way, Michelle and Ryan come across a survivalist named Benny, who offers to help them escape the cannibalistic clan. Benny takes them to his cabin, but it is soon revealed that he has his own dark secrets as well.
As the group is pursued by the cannibals, they must fight for their survival and try to make it out of Texas alive. Along the way, they encounter numerous traps and obstacles set up by the cannibalistic clan, as well as betrayals and unexpected twists in their journey.
Ultimately, the couple must face off against Tex and his followers in a final, bloody showdown that will determine their fate in the deadly and unforgiving wilderness.
