Léonard, who is Leslie's best friend and manager, finds out about the sinister plot and must find a way to get him out of the dangerous situation. Along the way, they meet up with Bobo's wife and a team of corrupt officials who are all trying to get Leslie on the national team. Léonard and Leslie must navigate their way through the dangerous political landscape of Botswanga while also trying to keep Leslie safe and fulfill his dreams of playing professional football. The film is a satirical take on the corrupt politics and football culture in some African countries. It highlights the pressures that young African footballers face when trying to make a career for themselves, and the dangers they face when they become caught up in corrupt political deals.
