The movie Later Days centers around Jack, a stay-at-home dad who is struggling to find fulfillment in his role as caregiver to his young children while his wife, Sarah, works long hours at a high-pressure corporate job. Feeling nostalgic for his glory days as a popular jock in high school, Jack decides to throw an 80s-themed surprise party for Sarah, inviting all of their Facebook friends from their old school days.
As Jack prepares for the party, he reconnects with old friends from his high school days, reminiscing about their wild adventures and youthful indiscretions. However, as the party approaches, Jack finds himself struggling to balance the expectations of his friends with the realities of his life as a stay-at-home dad. Meanwhile, Sarah begins to feel the strain of her demanding job, feeling increasingly disconnected from her family and envious of Jack's carefree lifestyle.
As the party gets underway, tensions come to a head as old wounds are reopened and Jack's carefully planned surprise is threatened by unexpected twists and turns. Will Jack be able to save the party and salvage his relationship with Sarah, or will his high school reunion end in disaster?
