Late Night Trains, also known as Night Train Murders, is a 1975 Italian exploitation film directed by Aldo Lado. The film follows two college girls, Lisa and Margaret, who are traveling by train from Germany to Italy to spend Christmas with their families. On the train, they encounter two troublemaking thugs, Blackie and Curly, and a drug-addicted nymphomaniac, Frau Trommel.
Blackie and Curly initially begin to harass and intimidate the girls, but their behavior quickly turns violent and depraved. The two men rape and murder the girls, leaving their bodies on the train, and eventually force Frau Trommel to join in on their sadistic activities.
The film features a disturbing and graphic depiction of violence towards women and has been criticized for its exploitative content. It has been compared to other notorious exploitation films of the era, such as Last House on the Left and I Spit on Your Grave. Despite its controversy, Late Night Trains has gained a cult following over the years and is considered a notable entry in the exploitation genre.
