Megan is hesitant about the sale of their family home and the fact that Nash, who had left town years ago without any explanation, is the buyer only adds insult to injury. As the family prepares for their final Christmas in the house, old wounds and resentments resurface between the sisters.
Megan's teenage daughter, Lily, is struggling with her own identity as well as a crush on their neighbor's son, Noah. Meanwhile, Audrey is dealing with her own issues of infertility and Bethany is trying to keep a secret from her family.
However, as the Christmas holiday approaches, the family begins to reminisce about their happy memories in the house and realizes that their love for each other is more important than material possessions. With some help from Lily and Noah, the family comes together to make one last Christmas in the house their best one yet.
Megan and Nash also begin to reconcile their past and consider a future together. In the end, the family learns to let go of the past and embrace new beginnings as they say goodbye to their childhood home.
