Ladyhawke is a fantasy film directed by Richard Donner and released in 1985. The story takes place in medieval France, where Captain Etienne Navarre and Lady Isabeau are cursed by the evil Bishop of Aquila. The curse was placed on them because the Bishop desired Lady Isabeau for himself and was jealous of her love for Navarre.
During the day, Lady Isabeau transforms into a hawk and cannot communicate with Navarre, who is a wolf during the night. They are doomed to never be together in human form. The only time they can see each other is during the brief moments of dawn and dusk.
Desperate to break the curse, Navarre enlists the help of a thief named Philippe Gaston, also known as "The Mouse." Together, they embark on a quest to overthrow the corrupt Bishop and put an end to the curse that plagues them. Along the way, they face numerous challenges and obstacles, including betrayal and treachery.
As the trio journeys through the land, they must use their wits and skills to outsmart their enemies and ultimately, find a way to reunite Navarre and Isabeau in human form. The film is a tale of love, curses, and redemption, filled with action, adventure, and romance.
