In the movie Labyrinth, Sarah is a young girl who is frustrated with having to babysit her stepbrother Toby. After she wishes him away, she realizes her mistake and frantically tries to get him back.
Jareth the Goblin King appears and tells Sarah that she must solve a labyrinth in just thirteen hours if she wants to rescue Toby. Along the way, Sarah meets a number of fantastical creatures who help or hinder her progress through the maze.
As she gets closer to Toby, Sarah begins to question her own abilities and faces a number of personal challenges. Ultimately, she succeeds in rescuing her stepbrother and learns to appreciate his presence in her life.
