La casa di famiglia is an Italian film that revolves around a young couple, Fabio and Martina, who are expecting their first child and decide to move into Fabio's childhood home. However, they soon realize that the house is haunted by the ghost of Fabio's deceased mother, who is still attached to her old home and family.
As the ghost begins to make its presence more obvious, Fabio's sister, her husband, and mother come to visit the couple. What follows is a series of strange and eerie events that test the couple's love and endurance. Eventually, they come to understand that they cannot ignore the presence of the ghost and must find a way to confront and address it if they want to have a future in their new home.
