In Kung Fu Panda 2, Po faces a new enemy, Lord Shen, a peacock who was banished from his own kingdom for his ruthless quest to create a weapon that would ensure his victory in war. Lord Shen has found a powerful substance called "kai" that can be used to power his weapon, and he plans to use it to conquer China and destroy kung fu. As Po and his friends attempt to stop Lord Shen, they also discover that Po's past holds the key to defeating him.
Throughout the film, Po struggles with his own identity and the truth about his past. He discovers that he was adopted by Mr. Ping, a goose who raised him as his own son, and that he is actually a panda. Through memories and flashbacks, Po learns that his parents were killed when he was a cub, and he begins to understand the importance of his role as the Dragon Warrior.
With the help of his friends and a group of new allies, including a group of kung fu mastering musicians and a mysterious soothsayer, Po confronts Lord Shen and his army in an epic battle. In the end, Po is able to unlock the true power of the Dragon Scroll and defeat Lord Shen by using his own inner peace and strength. He also learns that his true family is not just his biological parents, but also the people who have loved and supported him throughout his life.
