Kundo: Age of the Rampant is a South Korean period action film directed by Yoon Jong-bin. The movie is set in the late 1800s during the Joseon Dynasty and follows the story of Dol Moo-Chi (played by Ha Jung-woo), a butcher who refuses to carry out a task for a corrupt nobleman, causing tragedy to befall on his family and leading him to become an outlaw.

As Dol Moo-Chi is about to be executed for his crimes, a group of bandits known as Kundo arrive and rescue him. The Kundo are a group of righteous thieves who steal from the rich and give to the poor, led by their charismatic leader Jo Yoon (played by Gang Dong-won). Dol Moo-Chi joins the Kundo and becomes one of their most skilled fighters.

However, Jo Yoon's ambition and thirst for power lead him to become corrupt and cruel, putting him at odds with the other members of the Kundo. Dol Moo-Chi finds himself torn between loyalty to his new comrades and his desire for revenge against Jo Yoon, who he blames for the tragedy that befell his family.

The movie features intense action scenes and stunning cinematography, capturing the beauty and brutality of 19th-century Korea. It also explores themes of loyalty, honor, and justice as the characters navigate a world of corruption and oppression.
