Krull is a 1983 science fiction and fantasy film directed by Peter Yates. The movie is set in a distant planet Krull, which has been invaded by an alien race called the Slayers. The Slayers are led by a powerful entity known as The Beast, who seeks to conquer the planet.

The story follows Prince Colwyn (Ken Marshall), who is set to marry Princess Lyssa (Lysette Anthony) from a rival kingdom. On their wedding day, the fortess of the bride is besieged by the Slayers, who capture Lyssa and kill most of the wedding party. Escaping death, Colwyn sets out on a quest to rescue his bride with the aid of a band of warriors.

The group are guided by a prophesying old man, The Seer (Bernard Bresslaw), who tells them of the ancient weapon, the Glaive, that can defeat the Beast.

As Prince Colwyn and his companions journey through the treacherous terrain of Krull to find the Glaive and rescue Princess Lyssa, they must use their strength and wits to battle the Slayers and overcome many obstacles. Along the way, they also encounter an unexpected ally, a prince who has been transformed into a cyclops.

Krull is a classic tale of good versus evil, adventure, and romance. With stunning special effects and a memorable score by James Horner, the film has become a cult classic beloved by many fantasy fans.
