Kristy is a horror-thriller movie that was released in 2014. The film directed by Oliver Blackburn stars Haley Bennett as the titular character, Kristy. The movie takes place in a deserted college campus when most students have gone home for the Thanksgiving break.
Kristy, a college student, decides to stay on campus alone to prepare for her upcoming exams. She is a quiet and shy girl who keeps to herself, with her only friend being her roommate who has gone home for the break. As the night falls, Kristy begins to feel uneasy and decides to head to the local convenience store to get some supplies.
On her way, she is approached by a group of masked strangers, who seem to be out for blood. They begin to chase her, and Kristy soon realizes that she is their target. The group, consisting of three men and a woman, are part of a cult that worships Satan and believes that they are entitled to anything they desire.
With no help from the outside world and her phone battery dying, Kristy must confront her deepest fears to stay alive. She starts fighting back against her attackers, and the violent struggle soon becomes a thrilling cat-and-mouse game between the two parties.
Throughout the movie, Kristy battles to survive against her attackers and quickly learns that her quiet nature is not going to save her this time. She must use her wits, intelligence and any available weapon to fight back against the killers who are determined to make her their latest sacrifice.
