Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!: Kurenai Densetsu is based on the light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki. The movie takes place after the events of the second season of the anime series, where Kazuma and his party are living a peaceful life. However, their peaceful days are interrupted when a new threat arrives in town. The movie will focus on the characters Megumin and Yunyun and their past, as they work together to defeat the new threat. The cast and crew from the previous seasons of the series will return for the movie, including director Takaomi Kanasaki and writer Makoto Uezu. The release date for the movie has not been announced yet.
