The protagonist of the movie is Rohit Mehra, a young man with developmental disabilities who lives with his mother and grandmother. Rohit's father was a scientist who, before his death, was working on a project to contact extraterrestrial life.
One day, Rohit sees a spacecraft land in a nearby forest and investigates, leading to a power surge that leaves him with enhanced intelligence and physical abilities. He meets and befriends an alien named Jadoo who was left behind by the spacecraft. Jadoo communicates with Rohit telepathically and helps him navigate his newfound abilities.
Rohit's transformation fascinates and confuses those around him, including his crush, Nisha, and her fiancé, Raj. Meanwhile, Rohit's mother and grandmother worry about the impact his transformation will have on his safety and future.
As Rohit learns to control his new abilities, he discovers that Jadoo's spaceship holds crucial information for his father's unfinished project. Together with Nisha and Raj, they set out to unravel the mystery of the spacecraft and complete Rohit's father's work.
