Knife+Heart is a French thriller film directed by Yann Gonzalez and starring Vanessa Paradis. The story is set in Paris in the late 1970s, as the city is rocked by a spate of gruesome killings of young gay men. Anne Parèze (Vanessa Paradis) is a gay porn producer who starts to receive threatening letters from an unknown person who seems to be able to predict the murders before they happen.

As she begins to suspect her own actors as potential suspects, Anne sets out to complete her latest film, Homocidal, which she hopes will provide a breakthrough in her career. However, as the killings escalate, she becomes increasingly entangled in a web of deception and seduction, as she tries to track down the killer before she becomes his next victim.

The film has a dreamlike quality with surreal imagery and a pulsing, synth-heavy score that heightens the sense of tension as the mystery deepens. It is a homage to the classic giallo horror films of the 1970s, while also being a subversive and daring exploration of queer identity and representation.
