Killers is a 2014 Indonesian-Japanese psychological thriller film directed by the legendary Japanese director Kimo Stamboel and Timo Tjahjanto. It features two parallel stories that intersect after two killers meet and form an unlikely bond. One story follows Nomura, a charming sociopathic serial killer in Tokyo, who enjoys murdering women and posting videos of his kills on the internet. He believes that people should kill others whenever they want, and he likes to toy with the police and his prey.

The other storyline focuses on Bayu, a journalist in Jakarta who has become disillusioned with his job and society. One day, when two robbers break into his home, he fights back and ends up killing them brutally. Although he initially feels guilty, Bayu soon finds the taste of blood irresistible and embarks on a vigilante killing spree. He too films his murders and uploads the videos online, earning him a cult following.

The two killers eventually cross paths online and form a twisted bond based on their mutual thirst for blood. They begin exchanging videos and stories of their kills, and Nomura starts to mentor Bayu in the ways of killing. However, their relationship becomes increasingly toxic as they try to one-up each other with more violent kills, leading to a twisted and unpredictable finale.

Killers is a dark and gritty film that explores the psyche of two disturbed individuals and their descent into madness. The performances by Kazuki Kitamura (Nomura) and Oka Antara (Bayu) are excellent, and the film has a distinct visual style that amplifies the tension and horror of the story. Overall, Killers is a must-watch for fans of psychological thrillers and Asian cinema.
