Killer Workout, also known as Aerobicide, is a 1987 slasher film directed by David A. Prior. The film follows Rhonda, played by Marcia Karr, who owns a health club called Rhonda's Workout. Her sister Valerie, played by Ted Prior, was burned alive in a tanning salon two years ago, and Rhonda suspects foul play. Meanwhile, people at the gym are being brutally murdered, including a man who is impaled on a weightlifting machine and a woman who is electrocuted while using a treadmill.
The police investigate the murders, but Rhonda begins her own investigation to find the killer. She learns that the gym's former owner, Harry, who sold the gym to her, is still bitter about losing the business and may be behind the murders. She also suspects Tony, the gym's aerobics instructor, who has a strange obsession with her and was present when Valerie was burned.
As the body count rises, Rhonda continues to work out at the gym and train her clients, despite the danger. However, when she becomes the killer's next target, she takes matters into her own hands to catch the murderer and bring them to justice.
The film features a cheesy 80s soundtrack and is known for its over-the-top death scenes and gratuitous shots of women in leotards. It has gained a cult following among fans of B-movies and slasher films.
