After the sudden death of her husband, Sarah decides to move her daughters to a new city in the hopes of starting afresh. However, 15-year-old Kilee is not on board with the move and feels that they are running away from her father's memory.
At her new school, Kilee finds herself being bullied by popular girl Ashley. Meanwhile, her relationship with her younger sister Chrissy is strained as she is resentful for losing their father and blames Sarah for the move.
One day, Kilee discovers a rag doll, punctured with pins, in the shed of their new home. Soon, strange things start to happen around the house, and Kilee becomes convinced that the doll is to blame.
Kilee tries to dispose of the doll but realizes that it has supernatural powers and is more sinister than she first thought. As she investigates the history of the doll, she discovers that it was used in a voodoo ritual and could be possessed by an evil spirit.
As the doll's power grows, Kilee becomes worried that she has unleashed something dangerous that could hurt the people she loves. She must find a way to stop the doll before it's too late and put an end to the terror that has taken hold of her family.
