Killer Toon is a South Korean horror-thriller movie released in 2013. The movie follows the story of artist Ji-yoon, who draws horror webcomics under the pseudonym Chiro. She has a large following, and her fans eagerly wait for every new installment of her comics. However, her success takes a dark turn when a series of gruesome murders start occurring that resemble her comic drawings.
Detective Ki-chul, who is investigating the murders, becomes interested in Ji-yoon's works after realizing the similarities between her comics and the murders. He discovers that one of Ji-yoon's comics depicts a haunted ringtone that ultimately drives people to madness and murder. As the investigation progresses, Ki-chul begins to notice strange occurrences around him, similar to those in Ji-yoon's comics.
With the help of Ji-yoon, Ki-chul works to uncover the chilling truth behind the murders and the mysterious events surrounding them. They soon realize that Ji-yoon's comics are not only a source of entertainment but have a supernatural power to influence people's actions.
The movie features excellent cinematography and special effects, which add to the suspense and horror elements of the story. The cast, including Uhm Ki-joon (playing Detective Ki-chul) and Lee Si-young (playing Ji-yoon), delivers phenomenal performances, making the movie a must-watch for horror fans.
