The pregnant woman, Sarah, is ordered to bedrest by her doctor after experiencing complications in her pregnancy. Her husband, Jack, is an attorney who works long hours and is often away from home, leaving Sarah feeling lonely and isolated.
To help her through this difficult time, Jack hires two home care nurses, Lisa and Maya, to take care of Sarah. Lisa seems to be the perfect caregiver, always attentive and kind. However, Maya is sullen and hostile towards Sarah, fuelled by her intense hatred for Jack, whom she blames for ruining her life.
As Maya spends more time with Sarah, she becomes increasingly obsessed with stealing her baby and starting a new life for herself. Using her knowledge of nursing, Maya begins to sabotage Sarah's health, setting in motion a dangerous plan to steal the baby and frame Jack for the crime.
As Sarah's due date approaches, Lisa begins to suspect Maya's intentions and confronts her, leading to a tense and violent confrontation.
