The main character of Killer Looks is a private detective named Jack, who, while a skilled investigator, has let his personal life spiral out of control due to his love of alcohol and laziness. However, when he is approached by a young woman named Lily, who is a fan of martial arts movies and has a quick wit, he sees an opportunity to turn his professional life around.
Lily explains that her friend, a fashion photographer named Marcus, has been murdered and she wants Jack to help her find out who did it. Jack is at first hesitant to take the case, but he is drawn to Lily's enthusiasm and finds himself intrigued by the mystery.
As Jack and Lily begin to investigate, they encounter a variety of characters connected to Marcus, including his assistant, models he worked with, and even one of his ex-lovers. Through a series of misadventures, they soon discover that Marcus was involved in some shady business dealings that may have led to his death.
As they get closer to the truth, Jack and Lily also grow closer as friends, with Lily's karate skills coming in handy during a few action-packed scenes.
