Killer Fish is a 1979 Italian-Brazilian horror-adventure film directed by Antonio Margheriti and starring Lee Majors, Karen Black, Margaux Hemingway, and James Franciscus. The story follows a group of jewel thieves who plan to retrieve their loot from a sunken river town in Brazil, but they soon find themselves in a deadly battle with a school of piranhas. As they journey together into the treacherous Amazonian waters, tensions rise and the thieves' true motives are revealed, leading to a series of betrayals and mistrust.
The film features stunning underwater scenes, with the piranhas filmed in close-up to enhance their terrifying impact.
