In Kickboxer 2: The Road Back, Tong Po (played by Michel Qissi) is still bitter about his loss to Kurt Sloan (played by Sasha Mitchell) in the previous film. He retreats to his native Thailand to train and plot his revenge.

Meanwhile, Kurt Sloan has retired from kickboxing and is living a peaceful life with his wife and young son. However, when Kurt's brother Eric (played by Dennis Chan) is killed in the ring by a ruthless fighter named Mongkut (played by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), Kurt feels obligated to get back into the world of kickboxing and seek revenge.

Tong Po and his managers, including his brother who is played by Qissi's real life brother, force Kurt back into the ring by blackmailing him with compromising photos of his wife. Kurt agrees to fight Tong Po in a brutal "no holds barred" match, but in preparation for the fight, he seeks the help of a wise and experienced trainer named Master Durand (played by Peter Boyle).

Throughout the course of the film, Kurt trains extensively under Master Durand's guidance and even travels to Thailand to learn some new techniques. The final fight between Kurt and Tong Po is intense and grueling, with both fighters suffering heavy injuries. However, in the end, Kurt emerges victorious and avenges his brother's death.

Kickboxer 2: The Road Back features many thrilling fight scenes and stunning martial arts choreography, and is a must-see for fans of the action genre.
