Kanthaswamy, also known as Mallana in Telugu, is a Tamil language superhero film directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The film features Vikram, Shriya Saran, Prabhu, and Ashish Vidyarthi in prominent roles. The music for the film was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Kanthaswamy's unusual disguise as a chicken is part of his effort to keep his identity a secret while he carries out his charity work. Kanthaswamy is a man with a strong sense of justice who believes in helping people in need, and his encounters with the corrupt Ponnusamy lead him to use his superhero persona to take down his enemies.
Subbulakshmi, initially portrayed as a love interest, is revealed to be a woman seeking revenge on Kanthaswamy for her father's arrest. As the two characters play out their game of cat and mouse, the film features thrilling action sequences, including a chase scene on the rooftops of Chennai.
