Kalari is a Malayalam language film released in 2018. It tells the story of Siddharth, a young man suffering from agoraphobia, a fear of open public spaces, who lives with his older sister Anjana. Siddharth is unable to leave his house because of his phobia and relies on his sister for everything.
As Siddharth's sister reaches the age of marriage, he becomes anxious about finding the right man for her. He eventually finds a suitable match in Rohit, a well-educated and well-off man from a respectable family. However, after the marriage, Siddharth discovers that Rohit is a fraud who has married his sister only for her wealth and is planning to abandon her.
Determined to save his sister from Rohit's clutches, Siddharth summons all his strength and courage to leave his house and venture out into the world. He enlists the help of his friend Rishi, who teaches him the martial art form of Kalari, to fight against Rohit and his associates.
