The film follows Alan and Alice, a young married couple who seem to have the perfect life. However, things take a turn for the worse when Alice discovers that Alan has been cheating on her with a prostitute named Mary. Devastated by the betrayal, Alice kicks Alan out of their home and seeks solace in the company of her best friend Molly.
As Alice navigates her feelings of anger and betrayal, Alan tries to win her back and prove that he truly loves her. However, Alice is torn between her love for Alan and her desire to protect herself from further heartache. Meanwhile, Molly is dealing with her own relationship issues as she struggles to maintain a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend.
As the three friends navigate their tangled relationships, they are forced to confront their own insecurities and desires. Just a Little Harmless Sex explores themes of love, betrayal, forgiveness, and the complexities of modern relationships.
