Jungle Woman is a 1944 horror film directed by Reginald Le Borg, and is the sequel to the 1943 film Captive Wild Woman. The film stars Acquanetta as Paula the Ape Woman and J. Carrol Naish as Dr. Fletcher.
The movie begins with Paula, the ape woman, running through the woods after escaping from the circus where she was exhibited as a sideshow attraction. She finds her way to a creepy old sanitarium run by Dr. Fletcher, who takes her in and tries to find a way to cure her condition. However, Paula starts to revert to her gorilla form every once in a while, and when she does, she kills someone.
