Jungle is a survival thriller based on the true story of Yossi Ghinsberg, an Israeli adventurer who in 1981, ventured into the uncharted Amazon jungle with two friends, Kevin Gale and Markus Stamm, and a guide, Karl Ruprechter. The group embarks on an expedition, and all seems well until they part ways with Ruprechter, who has promised to lead them to an Indian village that he knows.
As the days pass, it becomes clear that Ruprechter has duped them, and they are lost, without food and water, and running out of hope. The group's unity is tested as they argue over the best course of action. Kevin sets off alone to find help, while Yossi and Markus stay behind. Markus, however, becomes too weak to continue, and Yossi is left to struggle on his own.
As the days turn into weeks, Yossi is pushed to his limits, fighting against hunger, injury, and despair. He must find the strength to survive and navigate the dangers of the jungle, including venomous snakes and jaguars if he ever hopes to make it back to civilization.
