June in January is a romantic-comedy television film that premiered on the Hallmark Channel in January 2014. The film stars Brooke D'Orsay as a young woman named Alex who has always dreamed of having her mother present on her wedding day. Unfortunately, Alex's mother passed away before she could see her daughter get married. However, Alex is determined to honor her mother's memory by planning the perfect wedding.
Alex is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Cory (played by Wes Brown), who is supportive of her desire to make her mother's presence felt on their wedding day. However, with her mother's guidance in the form of letters and keepsakes she left behind, Alex is able to find a way to make her wedding day special and meaningful.
