June in January is a romantic-comedy television film that premiered on the Hallmark Channel in January 2014. The film stars Brooke D'Orsay as a young woman named Alex who has always dreamed of having her mother present on her wedding day. Unfortunately, Alex's mother passed away before she could see her daughter get married. However, Alex is determined to honor her mother's memory by planning the perfect wedding.

Alex is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Cory (played by Wes Brown), who is supportive of her desire to make her mother's presence felt on their wedding day. The only problem is that Cory's mother, Aunt Bea (played by Marilu Henner), is a bit intimidating and obsessed with planning the wedding herself. Alex tries to go along with Aunt Bea's ideas, but soon realizes that her own vision for the wedding is being lost.

To make matters worse, Cory suddenly receives a work transfer that will take him out of town in just three weeks. The couple had planned for a June wedding, but now they must scramble to move everything up to January. Alex is forced to compromise on some of the details she had envisioned for her mother's tribute. However, with her mother's guidance in the form of letters and keepsakes she left behind, Alex is able to find a way to make her wedding day special and meaningful.

Throughout the film, Alex and Cory must navigate the tricky waters of pleasing their families, dealing with unexpected obstacles, and staying true to themselves. June in January is a heartwarming story about love, family, and the importance of making your wedding day your own.
