Jumpin' Jack Flash is a 1986 American spy comedy film directed by Penny Marshall and stars Whoopi Goldberg as Terry Doolittle, a computer operator who works in a New York City bank.

One day, while chatting with a client in a foreign language, Terry receives a strange message from someone who claims to be a British spy trapped in Eastern Europe. The message is in code, but Terry manages to crack it with the help of her colleagues.

As Terry continues to correspond with the mysterious spy, she discovers that his life is in danger and that she is the only person who can help him. Along the way, Terry gets caught up in a dangerous world of international espionage and must use her wit and computer skills to stay alive.

With the help of her friends, including her eccentric neighbor Louise (played by Carol Kane), Terry embarks on a series of wild adventures that take her to London, Paris, and eventually behind the Iron Curtain.
