David Rice, played by Hayden Christensen, is a young man who discovers his ability to "jump" or teleport when he escapes an abusive household. He uses his powers to live a luxurious life, but quickly realizes that he is not the only jumper in the world. He meets another jumper, Griffin, played by Jamie Bell, who introduces him to the war between jumpers and a secret organization known as the Paladins, who believe that jumpers are an abomination that must be eliminated.
As David navigates his new reality, he is hunted by the Paladins, led by a ruthless agent named Roland, played by Samuel L. Jackson. David also reconnects with his childhood crush, Millie, played by Rachel Bilson, who becomes involved in his dangerous world.
The film takes viewers across the globe as David and Griffin jump from place to place in an effort to evade the Paladins and uncover their secrets. The action-packed film features intense chase sequences and epic battles between jumpers and Paladins.
