Jump Ashin! is a 2011 Taiwanese sports drama film directed by Yu-Hsien Lin. The movie follows the story of a young man named Ashin who has spent his entire life training for the national team in gymnastics. He is determined to prove his worth in the sport and make his mother proud. However, his mother does not believe in his dream and asks his high school coach to take him off the team.
Feeling rejected and abandoned, Ashin quits the sport entirely and turns to a life of rebellion. He quickly falls in with the wrong crowd and finds himself in a lot of trouble. Ashin's life takes a turn for the worse when he becomes involved with a local gang and is arrested for his involvement in their criminal activities. To avoid facing a harsh sentence, Ashin decides to leave his small hometown of Yilan and start a new life elsewhere.
As Ashin tries to pick up the pieces of his shattered life, he realizes that he can never truly forget his passion for gymnastics. With the help of a new coach and a renewed dedication to the sport, Ashin begins to train again and makes a spectacular return to the national team. Despite the challenges and setbacks he faced, Ashin eventually learns the true value of hard work, perseverance, and determination, and comes closer to fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a world-class gymnast.
