Jean is a cab driver who knows the streets of Paris like the back of his hand. He's a friendly and outgoing man with a great sense of humor, always cracking jokes and making his passengers smile.
One day, while driving his cab through the city, Jean happens upon Anna, a beautiful flower girl selling bouquets on the side of the road. Anna is a sweet and quiet woman who speaks very little English.
Despite the language barrier, Jean and Anna strike up a conversation and Jean offers to show her around the city. The two spend the day together, wandering through the Champs-Élysées and stopping at sidewalk cafes for coffee and pastries.
As the day wears on, Jean and Anna begin to develop feelings for each other. They share jokes and laughs, and by the time the Bastille day celebrations begin, they're all but inseparable.
The film follows Jean and Anna as they navigate the crowded streets of Paris during the festival, ducking in and out of cafes and restaurants, and dodging the occasional firework.
