Julia X

Horror  United States of America

Julia X is a horror film directed by P.J. Pettiette. The film stars Valerie Azlynn as Julia, a woman who uses a dating website to meet men. After a series of unsuccessful dates, she starts talking to a man named "The Stranger" (played by Kevin Sorbo). They hit it off and agree to meet in person. However, when Julia arrives at the agreed-upon location, she is ambushed and abducted by The Stranger.

Julia wakes up in a strange room, bound and helpless. The Stranger reveals that he is a serial killer who has been searching for the perfect victim to complete his collection. He brands her with an "x" on her hip and proceeds to torture her. Julia, however, is not as defenseless as The Stranger thinks, and she begins to fight back, setting off a game of cat and mouse.

The cat and mouse game between Julia and The Stranger is intense and gruesome, with plenty of blood and gore. Julia is determined to escape and survive, but The Stranger is just as determined to kill her. As the film progresses, we learn more about The Stranger's backstory and why he kills.

While the plot may seem predictable, there is an unexpected twist in the film's final act. Without giving away too much, let's just say that the film's title takes on a whole new meaning.

Overall, Julia X is a solid horror film with some great performances and surprising moments. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you're a horror fan looking for something a bit different, it's worth checking out.
