Judy is a biographical drama film about the life of legendary singer and actress Judy Garland, focusing on her final months in London in 1968. The film depicts her struggle with addiction, financial troubles, and relationships while preparing for a series of concerts at the Talk of the Town nightclub.

As Garland, Renée Zellweger gives a powerhouse performance, capturing the singer’s magnetic charisma, pathos, and vulnerability. The film shows Garland grappling with a tumultuous personal life, including her tumultuous relationships with her ex-husband Sidney Luft and fifth husband Mickey Deans, as well as the custody battle for her two younger children.

As she rehearses for the shows, Garland's voice and stamina begin to deteriorate, but she gives everything she has to her performances, even as the stresses of her personal life take a toll. The film explores themes of fame, addiction, motherhood, and the high cost of stardom.

Judy was directed by Rupert Goold and written by Tom Edge, based on Peter Quilter's stage play End of the Rainbow. Alongside Zellweger, the film stars Jessie Buckley as Rosalyn Wilder, Garland's assistant in London, and Finn Wittrock as Mickey Deans. The movie was released in 2019 and received critical acclaim, particularly for Zellweger's performance, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress.
